Hello nice dawg and peeple frends. My name is Luda and I am an awsum 6 yeer old pit bull type dawg. I am not shore wut my ancestry is, but I has a boxy hed, muscular body and a short, glossy coat. I came to live wif my peeple almost 4 years ago wen the mummy of the peeple that used to own me decided to move to a condo. My daddy bringed me home and my mummy sed “Wut the heck did you bring into our house.” Yoo see, before, I wuz her dawg, mummy wuz one of those peeple who wood never consider owning one of those dawgs. Now that one dawg has changed her mind, she wunders wut is wrong with all of the peeple who are scared of us. Mummy luvs, luvs, luvs me, and I luvs, luvs luvs her.
Wen I came to live here, I shared my howse with 2 other dawgs. T.R. was the old dawg and Zeus was the dawg in the middle. T.R. kept us all in line until he went over the Rainbow Bridge. Then Zeus wuz my best dawg pal until he went away suddenly on January 24, 2009. Mummy sez he had cansur. We reely miss him. I reely doez not like other dawgs that doez not belong to my pack. I am also reely liking bein the only dawg in my howse, so Mummy is reluktant to git me a new rummate.
I live in a place kalled Elgin, Illinois. It yoosed to be a nice place until a bad man named John Prigge was eleckted to the City Kouncil. He ran on a platform of Animal Control Reform, wich we do need here. Then wen he was elected, the bad man decided that pit bull dawgs are the problem. Hiz solution is to catch and kill all the pit bull dawgs loose off their owner’s property. Nice peeple are finding owt wut the bad man wants to do and they are sticking up fer us. Unfortchewnately, the bad man does not want to lissen to enny informashun or opinions that are contrary to hiz. Mummy hopes that common sense will prevail and that next time there is an elekshun, the bad man will go away. Then Elgin will be a nice place to live again.
